12th July demonstrations
Wishing all the bands, Lodges and spectators attending the 18 12th parades tomorrow a safe and enjoyable day. After all the demonisation over the past few weeks from the broadcast, print and social media, tomorrow the Lodges and bands from Londonderry along with members from Donegal, Limavady and Coleraine will be parading through the town of Coleraine, where thousands of family and friends will gather to watch the spectacle of the sounds and colours of the parade, all still enjoying and connecting to our heritage and culture that continues to be important to them.
A Quote from Quincey Duggan
The Aldermen of Skinner’s Alley first made a toast to King William of Orange in 1688. Take comfort that despite what has been thrown at us, over 300 years later King William is STILL the toast!
